Pastor of Carter Chapel C.M.E. Church in Amarillo, Texas
Rev. Bell has been engaged in ministry for over thirty years and has served various positions. His longest tenure was at the North Park C.M.E. Church in Dallas, TX under the leadership and mentoring of Rev. Kenneth L. Hollingshed for almost fifteen years before being sent out again to pastoral leadership.
During the years at North Park C.M.E. Church Rev. Bell served as clergy in residence and assisted the senior pastor in bringing forth the vision for the church. He served as adult men’s Sunday School teacher, fifth Sunday coordinator, and evangelism director. He served on the advisory board for Hallelujah House Ministry Outreach Center a 501C 3, sang with the mass choir, men’s choir and served as praise team and worship leader.
Rev. Bell was tasked with coordinating and developing an outreach ministry with the Carr P. Collins Salvation Army Social Services Center in Dallas, TX, which he led for almost ten years (recently passing the baton). This gave him the opportunity to minister to those who are where he had been and helping develop and mentor local ministers as well.
